Beer Batter Pancakes

Ingredients:


1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

3 teaspoons corn oil

1 teaspoon light molasses

12 ounces beer
 

Preparation / Directions:


combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt-mix well in another bowl, combine egg, oil, and molasses-mix well add egg mixture and beer to flour mixture-stir just to blend lightly (some lumps will remain) heat a griddle to 350 degrees (a drop of water will just dance on grill) spoon 2 tablespoons of batter onto griddle and spread into a 3-inch circle with the back of the spoon heat until browned, turn, and brown on the other side remove from griddle, keep warm repeat with remaining batter serve hot
