Sour Cream Muffins

Ingredients:


2 Cup flour

1 tablespoons sugar

3 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon soda

1 large egg

1 1/2 Cup sour cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add half of the cream, stirring lightly. Stir in the soda dissolved in two tablespoons of the cream, then the beaten egg. Add the remainder of the cream and beat well. Bake 20 minutes in a hot oven (450 F). This makes one dozen utterly delicious large muffins, or two dozen small ones.
