Holiday Hot Pepper Jelly Muffins

Ingredients:


1 packages golden corn bread and muffin mix -- ( 6.5 oz)

1/3 cups milk

2 tablespoons margarine or butter melted

1 large egg

2 tablespoons canned chopped green chilies

3 tablespoons red hot pepper or green jalapeno pepper jelly.
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place mini, muffin paper baking cups in to eahc of 15small muffin cups. Prepare the muffin mix as directed on pkg., using milk, margarine and egg. Stir chilies into batter. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Top each with 1/4 tsp. jelly, press jelly lightly into batter. Bake 12 to 14 min or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pan. top each muffin with aditional 1/4 tsp. jelly. Serve warm. 18 appetizers.
