Italian Cooking Sauce Mix

Ingredients:

2 cans stewed tomatoes -- (14 1/2 oz)
2 cups water
2 tablespoons instan minced onion
3 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons green pepper flakes
3 teaspoons sugar
4 cans tomato sauce -- (8 oz)
2 cans tomato paste -- (6 oz)
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic minced
1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
 

Preparation / Directions:

Puree Stewed tomatoes. Combine all ingredients in a large kettle or Dutch oven. Simmer 15 minutes over medium-low heat. Cool and put into six 1-pt containers leaving 1/2-inch space at top. Seal and label containers Italian Cooking Sauce Mix. Freeze and use within 6 months. Makes about 6 pints of mix.
