Tabouli (Arabic Salad)

Ingredients:


2 bunches parsley -- finely chopped

1/2 head lettuce -- finely chopped

1/2 bunch mint -- finely chopped

1 medium Onion -- finely chopped

4 medium tomatoes -- cut into 1/4 inch pieces

1/2 cup burghur -- (finely crushed wheat)

2 medium two lemons -- juice of

1 teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons olive oil
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Wash burghur with cold water and then drain it. 2. Combine parsley, lettuce, mint, onions, tomatoes and burghul in a bowl and mix well. 3. Add lemon juice and olive oil. 4. Toss well to mix. 5. Serve with Lebanese bread.
