Easy Baked Beans

Ingredients:


2 tablespoons margarine

12 cups chopped onion

2 cans beans in tomato sauce -- (16 oz.)

1/2 cup karo light corn syrup -- or dark

1 tablespoon prepared mustard
 

Preparation / Directions:


In 3-quart saucepan melt margarine over medium heat. Add onion; saut‚ 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, 25 minutes. Makes 4 servings. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 3 quart microwavable casserole combine margarine and onion. Microwave at High (100%) 1 to 2 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave, stirring once, 12 to 14 minutes or until heated. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
