Basic Meat Loaf

Ingredients:


1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef

1 cup tomato sauce

3/4 cup quick-cooking oats -- uncooked

1/2 cup onion -- chopped

1 large egg
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Mix well. Shape to form a loaf. Bake in a large shallow baking pan about 1 1/4 hours.
