Nogales Steak Marinade

Ingredients:


6 cloves garlic mashed with 1 t kosher salt

3/4 cup fresh sour orange juice OR

1/4 cup fresh orange juice

1/2 cup fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons tequila

2 tablespoons ground chile peppers

1 cup fresh cilantro -- chopped

1 1/2 teaspoons Mexican oregano

2 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon black pepper

1/4 cup olive oil
 

Preparation / Directions:


For 3 lbs. of meat. Whisk together all ingredients. Puncture meat all over with fork. Refrigerate overnight turning occasionally. Grill 6-8 minutes per side for med rare. Serve with salsa, guacamole, and pickled red onions.
