Grilled Italian Sausage Kabobs

Ingredients:


8 ounces tomato sauce

2 tablespoons Pizza Seasoning Blend Watkins

1 1/2 teaspoons Basil Watkins

1 1/2 pounds mild Italian sausage cut into 1 1/2 inch piece

2 medium zucchini cut into 1 inch pieces

1 medium red bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces

1 medium green bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces

6 jumbo olives pitted ripe
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine tomato sauce, Pizza Seasoning and Basil; set aside. Cook sausage in medium skillet about 10 minutes or until partially done, turning occasionally; drain. Thread sausage, zucchini, and peppers alternately onto six skewers. Place an olive on tip of each skewer. Grill or broil kabobs 5 to 6 inches from medium coals 20 to 25 minutes, turning and basting 2 or 3 times with pizza sauce mixture, until sausage is done and vegetables are crisp tender. Heat any remaining sauce to boiling and serve with kabobs. Makes 6 servings.
