Plain Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:


3 tablespoons oil -- olive

1/2 teaspoon pepper -- freshly ground

1 tablespoon parsley -- chopped

34 ounces tomatoes -- italian, drained

1 large garlic clove -- chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1 small onion -- chopped

1 tablespoon butter
 

Preparation / Directions:


Sauté‚garlic and onion in oil. Add tomatoes, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano and butter, and simmer uncovered 15 to 20 minutes. Correct seasoning if necessary.
