Marinara Sauce - 2

Ingredients:


1 can tomato juice -- (46-oz)

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms -- sliced

1/2 cup green pepper -- chopped fine

1 clove garlic chopped

1/4 cup red pepper -- chopped fine

1 piece bay leaf

1/4 cup onion -- chopped fine

1 teaspoon dried whole basil

1 can tomato juice -- (46-oz)

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms -- sliced

1/2 cup green pepper -- chopped fine

1/4 cup red pepper -- chopped fine

1 piece bay leaf

1/4 cup onion -- chopped fine

1 teaspoon dried whole basil
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven, simmer, uncovered for 45 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Serve over spaghetti, rice, or noodles or as a topper for potatoes.
