Linguine With Red Pepper Sauce

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon oil

2 medium carrots -- chopped small

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste

1 medium sweet red peppers in strips

2 cans crushed tomatoes 1 lb. 13 oz

1 tablespoon basil

1 tablespoon oil

Preparation / Directions:


Sauté‚peppers and carrots in oil till tender. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer 1 hr. cook Linguine and toss with sauce. Optional: Add grated cheese and parsley while tossing.
