Clam Sauce (Red)

Ingredients:


1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

2 cans minced -- chopped or whole

28 ounces tomato puree

1/2 jar baby clams -- crushed

1/4 cup olive oil

28 ounces Italian tomatoes

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup white wine

4 cloves garlic chopped

1 cup liquid from clams
 

Preparation / Directions:


Melt butter in olive oil and sauté‚garlic til golden. Add all other ingredients except clams and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste. When done, add clams. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
