Wheat-Gram Biscuits

Ingredients:


1 medium Onion -- grated

1 1/2 cups wheat flour -- sieved

1/2 cup gram flour

1/2 cup cilantro

2 teaspoons gram dal -- (soaked for 2 hrs)

1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

1 teaspoon chile powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

2 Cup oil -- for frying

1 teaspoon salt -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preparation time: 30 minutes Cooking time: 30 minutes 1. Mix both flours, all powdered spices, ginger-garlic paste, onion, cilantro and salt. 2. Knead into a stiff dough, adding water as needed and a little oil. 3. Make 12 equal-sized balls. 4. Lightly oil the palms and pat each ball into a 10 cms disc, spreading a little gram dal on each side while patting. 5. Heat oil and fry each disc until golden. 6. When all discs are ready, serve hot with tomato sauce.
