Masala Khichidi

Ingredients:


1 1/2 cups leftover green khichidi

1 tablespoon oil

1/2 teaspoon cumin and mustard seeds.

1/2 teaspoon urad dal

1 stalk curry leaves

2 medium green chillies

1/2 medium lemon -- juice of

1/2 tablespoon chopped coriander

1 dash asafoetida

1/2 teaspoon chillipowder and turmeric

1 teaspoon salt to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oil, break chillies to big pieces. First add urad dal, then seeds and curry leaves and chillies. Also asafoetida. Now add khichidi lemon, a chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Mix well and cook covered for 2 minutes garnish with coriander. Serve hot.
