Lal Chutney - Fresh Red Chutney With Almonds

Ingredients:


1/2 medium red pepper -- deseeded, coarsely -- chopped

20 large mint leaves -- coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 clove garlic -- coarsely chopped

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

1 tablespoon blanched -- slivered almonds

1 teaspoon dill -- chopped, optional
 

Preparation / Directions:


Blend red pepper, mint, lemon juice, garlic, chili powder, slat and black pepper. Blend until smooth. Add almonds and blend again. Pour into bowl and check seasoning. Add dill if you wish. Serve with Hamburger Kabobs.
