Fried Bhindi

Ingredients:


2 cups bhindi -- (ladyfinger, okra)-- cut up

1 small onion

1/2 teaspoon zeera

3 whole red chiles

1 teaspoon salt according to taste

1/4 teaspoon haldi

2 tablespoons oil

1 tablespoon imli water --optional

1 medium tomato
 

Preparation / Directions:


Sauté the sliced onion until transparent-light brown. Add zeera, salt, haldi, bhindi and chilis. Cover and cook on low heat till soft. Do not add water. Try not to stir so much otherwise it will breakup. To check if done, stir, when the sticky texture disappears, its done.
