Carrot Thurum (Grated Carrot Curry)

Ingredients:


1 cup carrot -- grated

1 dash asafetida

2 medium green chiles -- finely chopped

4 pieces few coriander leaves

2 tablespoons oil

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oil in a skillet. When oil is hot, add Asafetida, grated carrot, chopped green chile, coriander leaves and salt. Fry for six minutes on high heat. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. It's very good as a salad or a light curry with chappati. Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 10 minute
