Peppermint Candy Ice Cream

1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk -- (14 oz.)
2 tablespoons water
2 large egg yolks -- beaten
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups whipping cream -- whipped
1/4 cup crushed hard peppermint candy.

Preparation / Directions:

In large bowl, combine condensed milk, water, egg yolks and vanilla extract. Fold in whipped cream and peppermint candy. Pour into aluminum foil-lined 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cover. Freeze 6 hours or until firm. Remove ice cream from pan, peel off foil and slice. Return leftovers to freezer. Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
