1/3 cup rolled oats
3 large eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup whipping cream

Preparation / Directions:

Toast oats in skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, until golden brown. Watch carefully as they can blacken quickly. Remove immediately from skillet and cool; set aside. Beat eggs with sugar until mixture is a lemony color, about 4-5 min. In separate bowl, whip cream until slightly thickened. Fold in egg mixture. Place in ice cream freezer and proceed according to manufacture's directions. After about 15 min., stir in oats and continue freezin
