Fresh Peach Ice Cream

2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup cold water
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 medium fresh peaches -- ( or 3), peeled and crushed
3 tablespoons sugar
1 cup heavy cream -- whipped to soft peaks
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
6 slices peach slices -- (for garnish)

Preparation / Directions:

Makes 1 quart 1. Have all ingredients chilled. 2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl; pour into ice cube tray and freeze until mushy. 3. Remove from freezer and pour into mixing bowl; beat until smooth, but not melted. 4. Return to tray and continue freezing for 3 hours; spoon into serving dishes and garnish with peach slices.
