Date-Nut Honey Ice Cream

Ingredients:


1 cup honey

3 cups half and half -- light cream

3 large eggs

2 tablespoons vanilla

3 cups whipping cream

1 1/2 cups dates chopped

1 1/2 cups almonds chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


Stir together honey, 1 1/2 cups half and half until well blended. Beat in remaining half and half, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir in whipping cream. Pour into churn and follow directions. Fold in dates and nuts after churn stops. Cover and freeze.
