Ingredients:


1 large avocado

2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 Jars prepared chunky salsa

1 Jars pickled jalapenos -- (optional)

1 cup sour cream -- (optional)

1 package tortilla chips
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. When avocado is soft, cut in half, remove pit, and scoop meat out with spoon into bowl. Mash with fork so as to leave small lumps. 2. Squirt in lemon or lime juice (what? you mean these things don't grow as plastic models with a flip-top lid!), about a teaspoon or to taste. Add several spoonsfuls of salsa, and mix together. To get the level of heat you like, select mild, medium, or hot salsa. If hot isn't hot enough, add sliced or chopped jalapenos. (To cool off the hotness, either mix in sour cream or serve it alongside). 3. Salt to taste, depending on saltiness of the salsa you used. (You might want to let it sit a while in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld, if you can restrain yourself). 4. Dip chips in and gobble 'em all up. Difficulty : very easy.
