a melt in your mouth onion thats sure to please


1 large vidaillia
5 strips bacon
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 pint mushrooms (canned or fresh)
1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation / Directions:

skin and core the onion,place the bacon strips in a criss cross fashion on a piece of aluminum foil put the onion on top of the bacon,sprinkle minced garlic and pepper in the hole of the onoin to tastenext add soy sauce and butter to fill the hole wrap bacon and mushrooms on the top wrap aluminum foilaround the onion place on grill with inderect heat for bout 1 hour,turning every 20 min
