Ingredients:
2 pieces unsweetened chocolate squares -- (1 oz.) |
2 cups sugar |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup milk |
5 tablespoons white corn syrup |
4 teaspoons butter or margarine |
1 cup chopped pecans |
2 teaspoons vanilla |

Preparation / Directions:
Cook the first 5 ingredients to a soft boil (235 degrees). Remove from heat
and add butter. Cool slightly; then beat until amost stiff. Add nuts and
vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls quickly onto waxed paper or pour onto
slightly greased plate. Cool and cut.
