Fennel-And-Fruit Salad

Ingredients:


2 medium ripe pears --about 1 pound cored and cut into 20 wedges

2 medium red delicious apples --about 1 pound cored and cut into 20 wedges

1/2 cup chopped fennel bulb

1/4 cup chopped walnuts -- toasted

1/2 cup fat-free blue-cheese dressing

1 bunch fennel fronds -- optional
 

Preparation / Directions:


Arrange pear and apple wedges alternately on 4 salad plates; sprinkle evenly with chopped fennel and walnuts. Drizzle 2 tablespoons dressing evenly over each salad. Garnish with fennel fronds, if desired.
