Crock Pot Applesauce With Cranberries

Ingredients:


10 medium apples -- (up to 12)

1 cup cranberry juice -- (up to 2)

1/2 medium lemon

3 tablespoons sugar

1/4 Cup dried cranberries (craisins) -- (up to 1/2)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Wash apples and chop them up without peeling. Squeeze lemon juice over them as you cut them. Put apples in crock pot with cranberry juiceā€”use 1 cup if you want the applesauce thick, more if you want it thinner. Stir in sugar to suit your taste. Let apples stew on low for 6 to 8 hours. About an hour before serving, stir in dried cranberries.
