Preparation / Directions:Mix granulated sugar and cocoa in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in milk, margarine corn syrup and salt. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Boil 3 stirring occasionally; cool. Beat in powdered sugar and vanilla. Frosts one 8- or 9-inch cake layer.
