Arabian Chick Pea Dip

Ingredients:


430 grams canned chick peas -- (garbonzo beans)

55 milliliters liquid in which peas were canned

2 cloves garlic

1/4 cup tahini

75 milliliters lemon juice

1/8 teaspoon cumin

1/8 teaspoon olive oil

1/8 teaspoon paprika

1 can black olives

1 jar pimento strips

1/8 teaspoon parsley

1/8 teaspoon cilantro
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Puree all ingrediants in a blender, slowly adding the chick peas last. 2. Add additional tahini and/or lemon juice to taste, if necessary. 3. Spread on a serving platter and lightly drizzle with olive oil and garnish. Serve at room temperature with pita bread for dipping. Difficulty : very easy. Precision : measure ingredients.
