Ingredients:


1/4 cup onion -- chopped

1 teaspoon garlic -- minced

2 teaspoons chili powder

2 teaspoons cumin

2 cups frozen peas

1/3 cup water

4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 large avocado -- chopped

1/4 cup tomato -- diced

1/2 teaspoon salt -- or to taste

1/2 teaspoon pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook first four ingredients in a non-stick pan over medium heat until onion is soft. Add the peas and the water. Cover and cook 3 minutes. Puree in a blender until smooth. Let cool and add remaining ingredients. Serve with tortilla chips.
