Ingredients:


2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 large red onion -- diced small

2 tablespoons garlic -- minced

1 pound dried black beans -- soak over

24 ounces beer -- of your choice

1 cup white vinegar

3 cups cold water

1/4 cup tomato catsup

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon fresh red or green chile of

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup fresh cilantro -- chopped

1/4 cup lime juice -- about 2 limes

1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot. Remove from the heat, add the catsup, cumin, chili powder, mustard, cinnamon With the mixture still in the blender or food processor, add the sour cream
