Creamy Pesto Dip 1

Ingredients:


2 cups packed parsley sprigs

2/3 cup walnut pieces

1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon dried basil

8 ounces cream cheese -- softened

1/4 cup milk

1 medium lemon wedge -- for garnish

1 bunch basil sprig -- for garnish
 

Preparation / Directions:


In electric blender or food processor container, blend parsley, walnuts, cheese, garlic and basil until finely chopped. Add cream cheese and milk; process until well blended. Cover; chill until serving time. Garnish with lemon wedge and basil sprig if desired. Serve as a dip. Makes about 1 1/2 cups
