Swiss Blueberry Fool

Ingredients:


4 cups bread -- diced

3 tablespoons butter

4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries -- rinsed and drained

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup 2% lowfat milk
 

Preparation / Directions:


Fry the diced bread in the butter until nicely browned and crisp on all sides. With a fork, crush blueberries in a bowl. Add the bread and sugar and blend. Mix in milk. Spoon into individual serving dishes and chill. Serve with whipped cream (optional) and a brimming bowl of fresh blueberries that have been rolled in sugar.
