RAW APPLE CAKE

Ingredients:


1 Cup sugar

1/2 Cup shortening

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

1 Cup raw apples, peeled and sliced

1/2 Cup black coffee, cooled

1/2 Cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla
 

Preparation / Directions:


TOPPING: 1/4 C. sugar 1/2 C. coconut 1/2 C. chopped nuts Grease and flour a 9x9" pan. Mix sugar and shortening together until well blended. Add egg, then dry ingredients alternately with the coffee. Add the vanilla, then apples. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350=B0 for 1 hour.
