SPICY JERKY MARINADE

Ingredients:


6 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup soy sauce

6 tablespoons brown sugar

3 tablespoons sherry

2 teaspoons garlic finely minced

3/4 teaspoons ground ginger

3 dashes Tabasco

3 pounds lean meat
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix all ingredients together. Place meat strips in marinade and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Stir mixture occasionally to make sure all the meat is covered. Dry following the technique mentioned earlier. NOTE: I tired an assortment of bottled marinades, teriyaki sauces, barbecue sauces and even dressings and everyone loved the new flavors. So if time is limited, consider simply using bottled sauces as a good alternative.
