Ingredients:


1 cup whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 Cup water
 

Preparation / Directions:


Crisp snack, popular in Bombay and Gujrat (Western India). Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Makes 25 puris. 1. Mix the flour, oil and salt. Add water and prepare a stiff dough. Knead well. 2. Divide the dough into 25 portions. 3. Roll out into thin rounds and prick with a fork. 4. Arrange the rounds on a baking tray. 5. Bake in a hot oven at 350F for 10 minutes.
