Gene's Indian Kabob Sauce

Ingredients:


2 medium onions -- peeled

2 cups yoghurt [nonfat] plain

1 tablespoons lemon juice or rice vineger

1 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon pepper to taste

2 tablespoons ground cumin seeds

2 tablespoons ground coriander seeds

1 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon cayanne pepper or chili paste

2 teaspoons fresh ground ginger and garlic paste

1 tablespoons chopped cilantro to taste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric
 

Preparation / Directions:


Liquify marinade ingredients in blender. Simmer until thickened slightly and flavor is set. Use as a marinade for kabobs or any meat or fish. Very good with rice.
