10 medium red chiles
1 tablespoon Bengal gram dal -- (channa dal)
1 tablespoon peeled broken black gram dal -- (urad dal)
1/4 Cup dry coconut
2 tablespoons oil

Preparation / Directions:

Fry masala. Cool. Strain and grind along with coconut to make a fine powder.
