Honey Wehat Bread

Ingredients:


2 cups reconstituted dry milk -- * see note

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/4 cup honey

3/4 cup salt

1 package active dry yeast

3 cups whole wheat flour

3/4 cup all-purpose flour -- (up to 1 c)
 

Preparation / Directions:


makes 1 loaf (for 3 1/2 or 5 quart Crock-Pot) *fresh milk may be used if scalded Combine warm (not hot) milk, oil, honey, salt, yeast and half the flour. With electric mixer, beat well for about 2 minutes. Add remaining flour; mix well. Place dough in well-greased Bread '' n Cake Bake pan; cover. Let stand for 5 minutes. Place pan in Crock-Pot. Cover and bake on High for 2 to 3 hours. Remove pan and uncover. Let stand 5 minutes. Unmold and serve warm. pb's note: a juice or coffee can covered with foil could replace Bread n' Cake
