Ingredients:


1 Cup yellow corn meal

1/2 Cup flour

1 large egg

1 Teaspoon sugar

4 Teaspoons diced onion

1 Dash salt

1 Cup buttermilk
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix all ingredients until well blended. Drop by spoonful into hot oil. Fry until brown. May substitute 1 cup sweet milk plus 1 teaspoon soda for buttermilk.
