Frosted Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients:


1/2 Cup butter

1/2 Cup sugar

1 1/2 Cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 large eggs

1 tablespoons lemon juice

2 1/2 Cup flour

3/4 teaspoon soda

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ginger

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 1/2 Cup pumpkin

1/2 Cup raisins

1/2 Cup nuts

---Frosting:

1 large egg -- beaten

4 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 Cup pumpkin

3 Cup powdered sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs and lemon juice. Add dry ingredients, alternately with pumpkin. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. Frosting: Heat egg, butter, lemon juice, and pumpkin. Add powdered sugar. Spread on cooled cookies.
