Cranberry Ketchup

Ingredients:


1 pound cranberries

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1/2 cup water

3/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons molasses

1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 tablespoon cloves

1/2 tablespoon ginger
 

Preparation / Directions:


Wash the cranberries in hot water and remove any stems. Place in a pot with vinegar and water, bring to a boil, cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature. then pour into a blender, and blend at medium speed untill smooth. Add the reminding ingredients to the blender, one at a time, blending on low speed untill very smooth. Pour the mixture back into the pot and simmer, gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Store in the refridgerator.
