Almond Stuffed Green Olives

Ingredients:


20 ounces pitted large green olives -- rinsed and drained

1/2 cup whole blanched almonds -- toasted and cooled

4 cloves garlic -- thinly sliced

1 teaspoon dried hot pepper flakes

1 1/2 cups olive oil
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Stuff olives with toasted cooled almonds and in a glass bowl combine with the remaining ingredients. 2. Marinate olives, covered and chilled at least 3 days and up to 1 week. Let olives stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving. Makes about 4 cups
