Rich Dressing For Slaw

Ingredients:


1 cup water

1 cup white wine vinegar

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup pastry flour

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1/2 cup unsalted butter

4 large egg
 

Preparation / Directions:


whisk flour, salt, and mustard into eggs combine water and vinegar in a saucepan, over a low flame combine vinegar mixture and egg mixture in the top of a double-boiler heat and stir until thickened stir in butter remove from heat and cool cover and chill for 2-48 hours serve slightly chilled
