Three Alarm Chili

Ingredients:


1 can tomato puree

1 can canned crushed tomatoes

6 pounds ground round

2 cups onion

1 cup hot chile powder

1/4 cup dried oregano

1 can canned kidney beans

2 teaspoons kosher salt

2 tablespoons pepper

2 cups cheddar cheese

8 ounces sour cream

4 cups sweet onion
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine beef and onions in a stockpot, over a moderate flame heat and stir for 15-20 minutes, until browned stir in remaining ingredients bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 2 hours serve hot, garnished with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream, and minced sweet onions
