Chicken Taos With Rice

Ingredients:


4 pieces chicken pieces -- about 14 oz

4 teaspoons flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 dash pepper

4 teaspoons butter or margarine

1/3 cup onions -- chopped

1 dash garlic powder

2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

1/3 cup chili sauce

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 1/2 tablespoons dry sherry

1 cup hot cooked rice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Roll chicken in combined flour, salt, and pepper. Brown in butter. Push chicken to one side. Add onions; saute until transparent. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 35 minutes. Serve chicken and sauce over beds of fluffy rice.
