Mexican Beef and Bean Casserole

Ingredients:


1 pound ground beef

32 ounces pinto beans rinsed and drained

8 ounces tomato sauce

1/2 cup salsa mild chunky

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain. Mix beef, beans, tomato sauce, salsa and chili powder in ungreased 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake 40 to 45 minutes, stirring once or twice, until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
