MEXICAN CASSEROLE

Ingredients:


1 can hot tamales -- (remove congealed fat)

1 can Spanish rice *

1 can chili with beans -- (remove congealed fat)

1/2 cup chopped onions

1 teaspoon Tabasco and salt to tase

1/2 cup sharp cheese -- grated
 

Preparation / Directions:


* If canned Spanish rice is not available, substitute Spanish Rice-A-Roni and prepare according to directions on box. In greased casserole, layer ingredients in the following order: tamales, chopped onions, Spanish rice and chili, sprinkling salt and tabasco to taste between layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Top with grated cheese and return to oven for 10 minutes.
