Chicken And Rice

Ingredients:


1 teaspoon salt

6 cups cooked rice

2 sticks butter -- (1/2 pound)

5 tablespoons flour

1 medium onion chopped

2 tablespoons garlic minced

1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

4 cups cooked chicken -- (deboned)

1 cup chopped green onion

1 teaspoon tabasco brand pepper sauce

2 cups chicken stock
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a skillet melt butter on medium high heat. Add flour and mix in well and continue to stir until flour turns light brown. Stir in onion, garlic, parsley, remaining salt, and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes. Add chicken to mixture and stir on medium beat for 2 minutes. Add cooked rice to skillet and mix well. Add green onion and TABASCO Brand Pepper sauce and Mix. Bring heat to high for one minute then add stock. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer, and stir. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes and serve.
