Applesauce Cake (Moist And Fragrant)

Ingredients:


1 cup butter

3 cups flour

3 large eggs

2 cups sugar

2 cups raisins -- chopped

1 teaspoon cloves

1 teaspoon allspice

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon cocoa

3 cups cooked apples or applesauce

2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well and add in applesauce. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add nuts and raisins. Pour batter into floured and greased bundt pan, and bake for 2 hours in a 250 degree oven.
